Next in IJ: Cannabis, Cyber, Entertainment | IICF convo

Coming up in the next issue of IJ

The profound impacts COVID-19 will have on the insurance and cannabis space took center-stage among topics discussed during this month's well-attended webinar, Insurance Cannabis: From the Mechanics to Seeing Through The Weeds.

Also featured: What COVID-19 means to entertainment coverage. In this time when workers are remote, we'll also get a cyber and security update.

A note from our CMO, Julie Tinney

We're all reassessing our priorities throughout this pandemic, aren't we? I sure am. Last week I had a conversation with Melissa-Anne Duncan of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation. They're doing some really great work to bring the insurance industry together to help kids. I encourage you to get involved with IICF if you're able. To learn more about the organization and what they're doing right now, watch our conversation, or read the latest iJam blog post about what's happening.

IJ everywhere | updated marketing resources

The Wells Media Group team asks the same question a lot nowadays: How can we help our clients, our employees, and our community in these uncertain times? Here's an updated list of what we're doing to connect you with marketing opportunities, tools and information:

Beginning immediately,  all Insurance Journal Magazine subscribers will receive a digital copy in addition to their print edition.  That way, if the subscriber is working remotely, they can still access the most current edition.

Speaking of the next issue, next up is our Work Comp Directory and Report. We also have a focus on Healthcare and Medical Professional Liability. If you write comp, get in there.  Those who advertise in uncertain times always come out ahead on the other side.

If you want to change the messaging/tone of your existing print or digital ad campaign with us, we'll make that easy to do by offering our award-winning design services to you. In fact,  we're waiving design fees to our existing clients for the entire month of April.  Your rep will be happy to help coordinate that.

We're still offering a sponsored news release to our marketing partners through the end of April.  Just let us know if there's a release you need to send and we'll get it scheduled. At no charge.

News is changing at lightening speed.
Our editors are busy making sure you have everything you need to know as it relates to your business and COVID-19.  We've even put it all in one convenient place: insurancejournal.com/coronavirus

We are working hard to keep track of events updates and consolidating them at our Insurance Industry Events page. If you were going to speak at one of these events,  talk with the team about doing your own webinar with us  or how we can help you promote your own research.

And finally, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation is doing a tremendous job at coordinating the assistance for the needy in our local communities. If you're looking for a way to support relief efforts locally,  consider a donation to the IICF Children's Relief Fund in your region.
