A message to our marketing partners | COVID-19

The speed of change over the past week is unprecedented. It's hard to know what to do. But one thing we can see for sure: people are craving news and information.

You were likely depending on events to be able to meet with your clients and prospects. To drive leads. To learn and to share. But physical events are all being cancelled, postponed, or converted to virtual. Now what?

I've been talking with our stellar sales and marketing team here at Wells Media Group about how we can help our clients, readers, viewers and students with these changes.

Here are some ways we can help. Please take advantage of them, and feel free to pass this message along.
  1. Free press releases: News and information are a HOT commodity right now. For those of you that have digital schedules riding along with news, good for you! If you'd also like to get your own news out, beginning immediately, you can post a single sponsored news item for free for through April 30th. Just email your press release to Ashley: aberg@wellsmedia.com to get on the schedule.

  2. Learn for free, virtually: We have several virtual events coming up. We invite you and your team to join any or all of them. Absolutely for free. They include:
    • Insurance Journal's Cannabis Editorial Webinar,
    • Insurance Journal's Cyber Editorial Webinar, and
The Insurtech Summit (live event on May 6)
       by Carrier Management.

  3. Use our team as a resource: Our company has been working remotely across the country (and across the world) for 15 years now. Maybe your team is just embarking on remote work. If so, our team would be happy to share tips and tools with you about how we make it work.

  4. Let us deliver your presentation: If you have a presentation prepared that will now go unused, we'd love to help you deliver it virtually as a sponsored webinar. We've been doing this for a long time now, and we're really good at it.

  5. Other marketing options: And finally, although we can't put your tradeshow booth in front of your prospects physically, we can deliver your message to the largest audience in the property/casualty insurance industry via our Insurance Journal, Claims Journal, Carrier Management, and MyNewMarkets.com brands. In times of uncertainty, news and information have never been more vital. Ride along with our updates. You can reach out to the team by calling 800-897-9965, ext. 125 or by replying to this email.

We're in this together. Let us help.

Sincerely,

The Cyber Issue - Book by March 20

Cyber crimes at well known companies make big news:

2013

A credit card breach at Target is
estimated to have compromised as
many as 110 million customers.

2014

Malware was installed on Home Depot's
network and information on 56 million
payment cards were stolen.

2017

A data breach at Equifax resulted in
the theft of 145.5 million consumer's
personal data.

2019

Capital One admitted that Social Security
numbers, banking transactions, balances,
and credit scores were stolen.
106 million were affected.

But cyber attacks are also a growing
threat for small businesses as well

because they tend to lack the security infra- structure most large companies have. The
cost of cybercrimes reached $2.7 billion in
2018 alone according to FBI estimates.

Businesses need protection against compu-
ter data loss and restoration. Reputational
insurance. Business interruption. Forensic
investigation. Extortion coverage. If you're
writing cyber, you won't want to miss
Insurance Journal's CYBER ISSUE.
